Kapersky telah menemukan file-file berbahaya yang disamarkan peretas sebagai dokumen terkait isu virus corona. File tersebut ada yang berbentuk pdf, docx, dan mp4 terkait corona. File tersebut dapat berisikan ancaman trojan hingga worm yang dapat menghancurkan, memblokir, menyalin data, serta dapat menganggu pengoperasian komputer maupun jaringan komputer.

Maka dari itu, perlu cara mengatasi Cyber Crime yang tepat. Anda dapat melindungi diri dan juga mencegah kerugian-kerugian yang tidak diinginkan.

Berikut merupakan cara mengatasi Cyber Crime yang terjadi demi melindungi diri dan mencegah kerugian-kerugian yang tidak diinginkan.

1. Laporkan Email dan Website Phishing

Salah satu metode Cyber Crime yang sering dilakukan pelaku yaitu menggunakan situs palsu. Pengguna akan menerima email dari alamat pengirim yang terlihat familiar dan terpercaya, dengan disertai link yang mengarahkan ke sebuah portal palsu.

Untuk mengatasi kejahatan ini, penting untuk segera melaporkan kepada provider antivirus jika tidak dapat mengenali situs tersebut sebagai portal yang berbahaya. Jika terdapat suatu situs phising yang meniru situs dari Lembaga keuangan, segera hubungi Lembaga tersebut agar mereka dapat mengambil tindakan yang cepat untuk menanggulanginya.

2. Mengubah Password

Ada banyak sekali cara untuk membobol suatu kata sandi atau (password). Pastikan Anda memiliki password yang kuat, mengubahnya secara teratur, dan tidak menggunakan kata sandi yang sama untuk akun berbeda.

Hal ini akan membantu untuk menjaga kunci identitas digital agar tetap aman dari peretas. Suatu password yang kuat terdiri paling sedikit 8 karakter dan mengandung unsur huruf besar, angka, huruf kecil dan karakter.

3. Otentikasi Dua Faktor (2FA)

Gunakan Two Factor Authentication (2FA) dalam mengamankan akses masuk dan saat melakukan proses yang krusial, contohnya pada saat menyetujui suatu pembayaran. Meski sudah mengimplementasikan beragam teknik untuk melindungi password, masih saja hal ini belum bisa memberikan jaminan menyeluruh. Tetapi, otentikasi dua factor ini secara signifikan akan meningkatkan tingkat keamanan.

Untuk pengguna media social, ada baiknya untuk mengaktifkan fitur ini. Setiap percobaan akses akan otomatis mengirimkan sebuah alert dan membuntuhkan authentikasi tambahan melalui SMS atau email yang didaftarkan. Jika peretas berhasil mencuri password Anda, mereka tidak dapat melakukan kerusakan yang signifikan, karena mereka masil perlu untuk memasukkan kode yang dihasilkan keamanan ini.

4. Update Sistem Operasi, Aplikasi serta Anti-virus

Banyak serangan melalui internet yang memanfaatkan kelemahan sistem perangkat Anda. Update sistem perangkat Anda secara berkala merupakan hal yang vital bagi pengguna internet. Pengembang aplikasi pastinya akan menyediakan fitur update berkala yang secara otomatis menambah kemampuan.

5. Membuat Backup Data

Melakukan Backup data merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan secara rutin. Pastikan data Salinan tersebut disimpan di tempat yang aman. Simpan backup Anda pada eksternal drive dengan kapasitas yang memadai dan pastikan tidak terhubung dengan komputer atau jaringan lain, karena jika data backup terinfeksi dengan jenis ransomware, data tersebut dapat terenkripsi, bahkan disimpan di cloud sekali pun.

Agar semakin aman, gunakan teknologi enkripsi (secure data) pada eksternal drive atau folder. Jika terjadi pencurian pada akses drive, pencuri tak akan dapat membaca data Anda.
